Big budget meeting

Roll up your sleeves everyone. This is serious business.

The Ummah Films team held our first pre-production meeting for “Doctor, Director!” The script has been finalized and so it is time to kick the planning process into high gear.

First item on the agenda – the budget.

We have raised a few thousand dollars for this film. What a great step up from our last project for which we only had $700 to work with!

At first glance, a few thousand seems plenty to shoot a short film. But consider all the resources needed to put this project together, and the costs quickly add up.

We are currently sitting over budget, which means we have our work cut out for us. We need to raise more funds to cover the cost of our film.
