Ali in Northern Calli on May 11th
Bismillah ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem,
After May 25th, my schedule will become busy for many months. Alhamdulillah, I think I am making the final lap in this speaking tour thing. If my schedule works out, my intention is to make it to an event in Sacramento on Friday May 11th InshAllah and another event in Los Angeles on May 13th.I am trying to get into ISNA but have had a tough time getting in contact with people there. ISNA once gave a platform to Asra Normani, who became (in)famous for having a child out of wedlock and trying to pray alongside men. She would then call up local TV news crews and "invite" them to come alongside her Rosa Parks style "revolution" in praying alongside men rather than in the back of the Masjid. ISNA featured her as a speaker on "women's rights in the masjid". And you would like to share a platform with this type of organization???
Do principles matter or is Ummah films just another fad?

Skh principles no doubt matter. One thing though is if there's anyone like her attending you dont have to share the platform with her, just go there, do your dawah, and go back home?
