Baba Ali Impersonator? (watch video)

Bismillah ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem,

I was looking for something on the web and I accidentally came across a video called "Hrama Police". Yeah I know, it looks very similar to the title for my Season 2 video, "Haram Police" so I clicked on it to check it out. It was kinda hard trying to figure out what was going on since it was in french but soon I realized that this was a Baba Ali impersonation...haha. I was like "is that me?" haha...cool

Anyways, here is the video they made:

and for those who haven't seen the original Haram Police video, here it is:

completely off the point...but need to get it off my chest...maybe askbabaali....how to inspire us 'born and raised' muslims....wherever you go...maashaAllah it seems like the reverts have a secret about this faith, that eludes those of us who may have been taught through childhood. I guess sometimes it maybe cos they indulged in the jahil lifestyle realised it was bad, and could really taste the difference....yet those raised in Islam may have been tempted to fitnah but refrained due to upbringing/taqwa...yet lack that feeling that most reverts seem to possess of being awakened to Islam..am i making sense?, cos i crave that pure love of Islam, that certainty...does anyone know what i'm sayin? i suppose the darker the darkness has been, the brighter the light will be.

I'm french so I understand perfectly what he says...
Your video is better, it tries to imitate your work but he doesn't have your talent...
No doubt, the original is better!!!!!!!!!!!

(O.K it's long)
I understand what u mean about 'born n raised' brother. Imyself feel that I sometimes miss out on the complete inner peace that comes easily to those who revert. I guess part of it has to do with being raised with blurring distinction between culture and religion. It has only been recent that I started to realise and question why I wear the hijab (strong cultural influence) or do certain things which are culturally permissable and even encouraged but aren't sunna or even islamic. alhamdulillah I have matured and began to appreciate and understand my religion without the cultural trappings.
Keep up the wonderful work at ummah films and as they say 'immitation is the best form of flattery' - just don't go on getting a big head about it!
cheers Hijabi
