New Reminder Video - Let's all put it together...TOGETHER!
Bismillah ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem,
If you viewers can manage to put a script together as a team, I'll do my part by filming and editing it InshAllah.
In the 6th video in Season one, I asked the viewers to take the writer's chair and come up with ideas and concepts for a future Ummah Films video. Eventually, it was decided to go with the issue of business dealings and the final product (Fisibilillah Discount) ended up in Season 2 with about 62,000 views Alhamdulillah.
If you guys can manage to put a script together as a team, I'll do my part by filming and editing it InshAllah. Yes, it will be your words and your script so you guys are in the Director's chair. The only thing is that you have to work together. In order to be organized, you'll be using a WIKI page, which allows a group of people to contribute to the same script. Once again, it best to keep it organized in order to maintain our sanity :)

I suggest you make a video regarding the sectarianism and disunity in the ummah, maybe regarding intolerance for other muslims. Its an important topic.

Recently we have a serious moral problems in our community that the brothers suspect each other of being a spy. So the brother maybe in his nature secretive person or speaking many languages but he would be a sincere Muslim. He comes to the mosque and sees everyone in the city ignoring him or being afraid of him because of the rumors spreading fast even to the sheikh or the Imam. Maybe we can do a little moral dawa in this subject.
How about causes of disunity' eg: intolerant muslims, judgemental muslims, arrogance, suspicion (you can include the spy suspect bit here), extremism,ignorance, the haram police and o'coz Shaytaan. What do you think?
I think a video on Racism would be excellent.
It would be ideal for Muslims as well as Non Muslims, so a great topic for all kind of viewers.
And it's a topic that still needs addressing in the world we live in.

let's give ourselves until friday to come up with the topic. i guess we'll hear everyone's suggestion and then we'll vote. i guess based on who is participating during that process, we'll figure out someone to make the decisions on the script of what stays and what goes
also, try to use the "other" option when leaving posts. yeah, you're still anonymous but at least you have a name that you can type in so we communicate more easily....otherwise a bunch of people are anonymous and its just confusing

Assalamualaikum brother Ali. i was thinking may be if you could do a video about muslims acting like none-muslims i have some people in my school who think its cool to not know much things about Islam and go and blab it out to all the disbeleivers that they don't know much so they don't dont laugh at them. how about that?

Racism would be good. Especially with the People of the Book. There are some of us PotB who love Muslims and want to better our world through dialogue. I get tired of being called Kaffir and told I'm unchaste (which I AM NOT) because I'm a western woman who is not muslim. Dawah is important. How can you do Dawah when you are constantly insulting the people you are supposed to be teaching Islam too???? How can you teach if you are always excluding them? For me this is important. One experience in a mosque at 17 years old was enough to make me spend the next 13 years thinking Islam was nothing but a misogynistic faith. And its not....imagine if that man had been welcoming and kind? I might be Muslim today.

Once the topic is decided, those who are interested in contributing will add lines to the script. Not sure the best way around it but maybe if each person keeps adding to the existing script. At the end, someone is selected to go through the script and take the best of it and polish it. Once you have the final product, then its my turn and I"ll film it and edit the video InshAllah

I know at the moment most of the votes are for the girl freind boyfriend issues. I reckon thats going to be a hard topic and will require alota work and thinking on the best way to put it abt. It may be possible but maybe Baba Ali can do that one himself...or maybe not well see on the votes.
But i think the unity of the ummah is important. We could talk abt stuff like
1)racism could be included
2)and how some ppl from some cultures think that they are better then others
3)How we might accuse other ppl of certain things and not knowing the deen properly ourself
4)How we judge ppl
5)the thousands of groups out there...why cant we just be muslims!
etc etc

It’s very true the disunity of the ummah is so important. But we can’t just include what is going on. We have to look at the reality and address the solution and not just dos and don’ts. Because if we say what Muslim shouldn’t do, the reality we still have boarder, nationalities, flags that is given by the colonist passports that still exists. As long there is a line drown and we have so many Muslims leaders, when Islam says there has to be 1 Ummah. & 1 Muslim leader.
The muslim ummah is an unique ummah among the whole of mankind: their land is one, their war is one, their peace is one, their honor is one and their trust is one.-Prophet Muhammad(saw)

Then the unity of Muslim will be under 1 flag, until we as a Muslim realize this.
If we don’t then the advice of unity will continue without effects. beside in every circle, conference, lecture that what we all do is just to tell Muslim don’t do this or that. Islam is a way of life and we have to understand what we mean by that. Our actions in life are based on the shahada.
If we going to address these issues we have to point out:
1. The cause of dis-unity from light of Quran an Sunnah
2. The cause of dis-unity from Islamic seerah.
3. The symptoms.
4. And the solutions
5. Daleels from of Quran, Sunnah, Ijma3 and the seerah.

I think you should make a video regarding the arrogance among Muslims. I've noticed many times that some Muslims tend to look down upon others, feeling superior to them without first taking a look in the mirror. This often leads to gossiping and such. Anyway, I thought it might be an interesting topic for you to discuss.

doing a video on bf and gf wud be an awesome idea coz this is the thing which is the most related subject to ones life,

#when there is nobody ALLAH(SWT) is always there to help and support u through the most difficult times wen nobody turns up.
#ur worldly relationship might turn ugly by deception,lack of interest,oldage but ur relationship wd ur LORD will never end and always stay beautiful n grow stronger.
#a bf,gf relationship is mostly based on how gud looking the guy or girl is or how rich they are or how popular they are,but in case of ur relationship with ur LORD,ALLAH(SWT),these things dont matter n HE treats everyone equally n Loves everyone equally no matter what the flaws are.
#the relationship btw ALLAH(SWT) n a person is mutually rewarding in this world,and the next.
#while a person is "used'in a bf/gf relationship for others benefit,boredom or lonliness,one's relationship with his LORD is above all the greed of this world.
