Bismillah ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem,
This video is about those who spend more time trying to find faults in others rather trying to improve themselves. We should not just give the benefit of the doubt, but rather benefit of the trust InshAllah

Jazak Allah khayr brother Ali, masha'Allah your reminders are spot on!
This one is for each and every one of us. It's always more tempting to scrutinize others' mistakes, rather than our own.
It's time we kick off that bad habit:)
Oh and that doctor shaish kabab part totally had me chuckling:) You're hilarious. Masha'Allah
May Allah continue to guide you for the Khayr of this Ummah.
side note: okay this is a bit childish, but YAY I'm the first to comment:D

Salam alaikom,
I recently heard that it was haram to eat those rice krispies because of the gelatine in the marshmallows however if u really love them u can still make them by buying halal marshmallows in your local "islamic" grocery store ;););)

Thanks for that reminder. I love to watch your videos because the messages are so important. They aren't the messages I think about everyday but when I watch you, I truly agree with everything you say. Though I am not Muslim, I find it easy to relate to and apply the same messages you speak of to my own life. Thanks. You are appreciated! Keep up the good work.
Assalaamu aliekum,
Jazak Allah Khair for all that you do. The Reminder series was one of the deciding factors in my becoming Muslim. I still utilize them to strengthen myself in this deen, Alhumdulillah. May Allah (SWT) continue to bless you and make you successful!

GREAT reminder, one of the best.
Subhaanallah, jazakallah khayr brother. This video raises a very important thing especially today when everyone is alhamdulillah turning their faces towards Islam, not quite reaching there but thinking they've done something amazing! It;s a wonderful reminder, and personally to me as well. May Allah reward you immensely.
Oh man..... This is just 5 star stuff, I am in instant fan of you and your team and the work you guys are doing. I laughed for like 2 hours and only stopped when it started to hurt. However funny it was, every single thing you guys said makes sense. You rock guys!!!!
Salam. Can you please upload these videos to www.youtubeislam.com aswell.
JazakAllah khayr
salaam alaikum brother,
great, as always. but a bit scary thought with all the fumes coming out of ur nose and ears ;)
commend on ur effort
jazakallah khair
salaams!! How true! You have made a very important point. Too many of us say "in my opinion...". We say it so easily, without research, at times of religion, its scary!!
Thanks for all ur efforts
Asalamualikum
That was a very good video and reminder brother inshallah keep them coming.
Assalaamalaikum Brother,
Mash'Allah, this video like all of the others got me thinking. I speak for myself here first, but even if some people don't mean to, i think they sound a little condescending when they tell someone what they're doing is wrong...but i think they just don't realize it. I for one will start to pay more attention to my actions.
JazakAllah Khair for the reminders. May Allah bless you for your hard work in this life and the next.
Asalaamu 3alaimum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh
MashaAllah, your vid's are just the best. One of the best forms od Da'wah I've come across. You have serious message, but your portrayal is humerous and easy to relate to. May Allah reward you so inshaAllah

Your videos are great brother, and i hope you can carry on making them, on ur previous msg up on the site you said, that it was your last one, is it your last one?I hope not, itll be sad to see the vidoes finish!
Anyways keep up the good work, May Allah guide you and always bless you with Pure intentions.Ameen.

Asalaamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu, I loved the ending note (about the dentist), sobhanAllah....
and I also agree with the previous poster, you look a little scary at one point :P
Akhi i used to watch your videos alot and then i stopped watchin them as frequently. Watching it right now... your last line which you always say..." Reminding you just in case you forgot " Subhan'Allah.
Many of us forget bro. Jazak'Allahu khairun for even TRYING to remind us. Some don't try anymore to remind and may we not forget Allah rather remember Him.
asalamu alaykum
lol y'all needs ta chillz out
a couple of lil dawah tips; for those haram police out there...and im quoting the Messenger of Allah (SAW);
1) Give the brother advice...in secret... SAW said: The advice given in public (i.e; out loud, in front of people) is an embarrassment (fadee7ah). It'll also discourage the person to take your advice anymore.
2) If you're going to speak about them behind their backs, speak of the good things they do, it replaces gossip/backbiting and betters their image with others (again off of Prophet PBUH)
3)If you try to correct someone with something, make sure you're doing good at it first, because Allah will test you on your own advice that you give. In case you end up not living up to your own advice, you may end up seeming like you are untrustworthy and don't know what you talking about. Maybe even a hypocrite, Allahu-a3lam. So be CAREFUL. (This i learnt from experience, unfortunately.)
And may Allah help us follow the best of speech, and any mistakes are from me and the shaytaan and not from Allah and his Messenger, wa Allahu A3lam.
I apologize that I have no refrences in whicg books these came form, cuz in fact i learnt these at Halaqas. I'll get them soon inshallah.
If anyone knows for a fact, with pure evidenve that I messed up, or they themselves know the references of the 2 hadiths above, please email me terry.gsta@gmail.com and notify me.
Jazakumu-Alalhu Khair
Wasalamu Alaykum.
Thank you brother Ali for those great videos. I'm truly a big fan of yours.
I also like this video in particular. You said some very important points.
There are some, however, who might get the wrong idea that a Muslim should not tell another Muslim about a mistake he's making or should not advise him at all, and instead only focus on himself.
While I agree that one needs to better himself first and foremost, giving advice to others in the proper way [and not in an arrogant, intimidating or sarcastic way] is an important element of Islam.
Allah the Almighty described Muslims as follows:
"You [true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him- and his Sunnah] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma‘rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh."
{Translation of the meanings of the Qur'an 3:110]
Allah the Almighty said the following about a previous nation:
"They used not to forbid one another from Al-Munkar (wrong, evil-doing, sins, polytheism, disbelief) which they committed. Vile indeed was what they used to do."
[Translation of the meanings of the Qur'an 5:79]
And it's also what you have said in this video [from 3:03 to 2:59]:
"So if you see someone doing something wrong, correct him. But do it in the right way".
Thanks again brother Ali, and keep up the good work!
persian kabobs haha. that was pretty funny. on a serious note though, i love ur videos and they r a great reminder to everyone. mashAllah...keep up the great work brother.
Asalaam aleikum Brother Ali,
Masha'Allah!!!!!
this reminded me of the sayin: when u point a finger at someone, take care to recognize the three pointing back at you.
Jazak Allah Khair
your sister in Islam
Laila :-)
oh and before i forget!
Way to 'represent' on Ariana Afghan television today, I had just finished watching 'The Haram Police' and was talking to my dad about it and BAM! theres Baba Ali on t.v! I started yelling to my dad 'Baba! Baba! Look THATS him, Baba Ali!'....in retrospect..how embarassing looool
Thank YOU and ur Staff and everyone on ur team for doing what you do, May Allah swt reward and bless you all for providing a sense of community for Muslims around the world who otherwise might not have had that opportunity
:-)
Salaam
Laila
Asalaam Aleikum Brother Ali!
Mash'Allah on your fantabulous work!
I'm not sure whether or not youve had viewers ask you this or not, but I know that I havent seen you address this in your comments or videos, or maybe it will come up in the season finale:-( Insha'Allah, and for the sake of ending this LONG run on sentence, I was wondering if you wouldnt mind telling us about the people who introduced you to Islam. I know you made up your mind after going to the camp/convention, but what books or what scholars or Imams etc helped you in your journey toward Islam. It seems that now a days, its hard to find good, authentic role models because I feel as if the ones Ive come across, each Mullah has his own intention or view, every "born again Muslim" has a biased, extremist view. Its like, there isnt a person who can counsel and advise and help and teach and reveal the beauty, purity, light that is Islam. Whether it because of Culture, or not having proper resources or funds, or anyone really motivated or serious enough to take in Islam's youth and guide them, because contrary to common belief, Young Muslims in the West DO want to strengthen their Iman, and Alhamdulilah there are many many examples amongst our Brothers and Sisters in America.
Salaam
as-salamu 'alaykum
Excellent work! Masha Allah. Thoroughly enjoyed this one,and the message sunk in too, alhamdulillah. Islamic edutainment at its best. May Allah reward you with ample good.
Mashallah Baba Ali, that's another brilliant piece of work.
Keep up with it.
Salam bro,
amazing once again..though u look sorta creepy wen ur the haram police guy haha it was funny. totall true. I know soo many people like that. some even say one thing and do another.
Thanks for the reminder
Salam
Hira
This was good!
mashallah! loved it!!!
May Allah reward you for your efforts.
This was particularly relevant to me and to other converts I know. When I converted some good intentioned Muslims gave me advice on how to behave as a muslim stressing things which are (probably/possibly)sunnah for example wearing socks while praying, wearing pants that cover the ankles, shaving, wearing makeup and nail polish. It seems to me that conversion can be such a difficult process that the 5 pillars should be emphasized and the 'halal police' should take a break.
Thanks for the reminder.
Assalamualykum warahmatulahi wabaraktu! Man brother...great video :) Next time, i shall share it with a few of my own people :) Love the 'persian kebabs' - i'll ask my brother to prescribe it to his patients, hehe. Take care for now and continue with the great work inshallah!
Allah says in the quran:
"Ya ayuha ladhina amanu ijtanibu kathirane mina dhane, inna ba3da dhana itme..."
Surat el Hujurat N°49 verse 12:
"O you who believe! Avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting)[] . And fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful."
Assalamu Alaikum,
It's true that there are some people who will go out of their way to condemn others.
However, I think the video was somewhat poor in taste.
The "haram policeman" was exxagerated out of proportions. I mean, I've never seen anyone make such faces in real life.
Also, I do not think it's a good idea to dress up the "bad guy" in the videos wearing a kufi. It communicates that there is something wrong with these people. If everyone was wearing a kufi in the videos it would still make sense. But if only the "bad guy" is wearing a kufi, it appears that you have a problem with the kufi.
I saw the same thing in the "Fisabilillah Discount" video.
Let us stick to addressing the problems without unintentionally castigating the dress of the person in a bad light. Especially, when covering the head is a Sunnah.
Jazak Allah khair.
Ali is very entertaining & his videos address the simple thinkers. My concern is that Islam teaches that thoughts precede actions. If we only address actions the thoughts will remain low & the actions will never really change.
I just watched a video interview w/ 2 sisters on DawahWorks.com dealing w/ polygyny. I think Ali should conduct interviews such as these in order to know how the Ummah thinks, not just how the Ummah acts.
My opinion. Your sister in faith. Salaams
LOL dat dude was so overexagerrated!! but it was definitely a reminder- u no sum of dem ppl dnt even say anything...they just giv u dirty loooks?
:(
anyways GREAT video!
Salaam. Excellent film but I am waiting for the 2 remaing marriage videos to come out so I can give the complete set of marriage videos to a certain "someone special"
I have downloaded all the videos because they are saved into the temporary folder while watching, but I can't download the Haraam Police. Has YouTube changed things so videos are not downloaded?? Would appreciate some help for downloading please.
Salam I agree with the last 2 post.(the sister's comment and the brother's)there are people who make everything haram at the same time there are those who say everything is OK...so may be there need to be a video about the other side...the sister put in best what we want is to address and change in thoughts and not actions. once the thoughts are changed the action will change easily...the thoughts needs to be addresses more I haven't checked out the interview but I will Insh-Allah...with that said I thought the video was very funny!
salamZ
Salamo alaikom Ali,
Another usefull reminder of yours.
I see meny muslims here in Copenhagen who are realy far from being a muslim and it makes me sad. specially when they try to show that they know in islam what all others doesn't know.
A sham i would say, but anyhow.
It is a great video and may Allah be always by your side guide you to the right way to remind Mohammad's ummah.
Take care ya man

salam
good video brother, i agree that we need to educate our self before educate others...
and the message is..don't be the HARAM POLICE..good bro! masha Allah
Asalam Alikoum,
I am not being able to see the Video. I click on it and it just says loding...even on Youtube
let me know how I can see it
Haribol,
i am a Hindu and i like your video a lot, because you tell universal truths about human behaviour and basics of spirituality. No one who does not consider himself to be the worst can ever attain true spiritual consciousness. And this consideration must not be a kind of psychological complex but a deep insight into the fact of our own incapacity for universal love towards everyone.
Keep doing stuff like that! It is really valuable, especially for those who think bad about Islam (and of course those who consider themselves to be the only true whatever) ...
Pati
Good job bro...
BarakAllahu feekum
asalaam wa alekum-
I have been trying for several days now to watch this video and have yet done so. I have tried to link through this link as well as the youtube website. Is anyone having the same issue?

Asalamalikum Brother,
I really enjoy watching your videos, they really strengthen my iman. I think you have a very special talent, a gift from Allah to be able to address such important issues in an entertaining and comedic manner. I was wondering if you could do an episode on halal and haram food. I noticied you mentioned it a little in the haram police episode, but I feel it needs more clarification. I mean I see people thinking a big mac from mcdonalds is halal! and people thinking that its okay to eat haram turkey- since when is haram turkey halal?!?!? people say that they won't eat anything if it says its not halal. Come on, have you ever seen food with a label reading "HARAM!". I think it would make the company producing the food gain less profit. Please do an episode regarding this issue, since I feel it is one of the major ones needed to be clarified.
Jazak Allah Khair, Salams.
Salaam 3leikom
I really like all the video's they're all very good!! Masha'Allah! May Allah help you so you can proceed your great work
Salaam
Masya'allah... thank you for the reminder. May Allah bless you.
Assalamualaikum.
I absolutely agree with you on the self-proclaimed internet scholars. The end of the video was hilarous! Keep up the good work and humor Bro!
It's so bizarre listening to you talk about the Haram Police because we have the exact same kind of people at my church. Some Christians get so judgmental in the same ways feeling like it's their job to slap everybody else back into line. No matter how similar or different religions are, I guess people are the same everywhere.
assalamu alaikum you put a smile on my face man every time, your a funny bro!seriously i need2sort myself out,thanks4remindin me
Salam, the best video so far... Can't wait for more reminders!
MashAllah, thanks
thank you
human person should not correct another person.purely because they dont know other peoples faith or their purpose in this life..every individual is different .what is good for one person isn't good for another person..rules are there..if people want to fallow they will.they might not be ready or they didnt discover their religion..who are we to judge them..its between them and the creator..children need good role models not just people with big speech and no behaviour for children or other people to see..i didnt come across any role models appart for my parents..i thank them for who i am today..i saw pure goodness from them..we need role models and people behaving how they should..according to religious books..we should respect people,be kind, smile, offer support..hardly modeled these days..allot of backstabbing jelaousy envy and evil.....thank you...adela

salaam,
masha Allah.. jazakallah khayr bro. May Allah help you to stay steadfast in religion... and please keep reminding us
Excellent points and very useful reminders for everyone (muslim and non-muslims).
Asselamu alajkum, I am from Bosnia, 17 years old, & I'm watching U. Similar topics which u r acting on, are current here, in Sarajevo. Maybe u should show people in one of next videos that small differences in way of practicing islam aren't important at all, sense and aim are important. There are lot of different hadiths and examples in sunneh which r showing different ways of practicing salah and similar things. That's not so important as doing salah. And now different ways of understanding islam in practice r cause of arguing between people... even so far they start to struggle... Prophet has been seen in different positions while he was in salah. And people are arguing in which position to put their hands while they r in salah?! That's not important!!! That's not aim of salah! I saw u in one of videos in salah and position of your hands, I'm hanefii, and we put our hands in different position but i don't mind if i see you doing it on other way!! Salah is still correct. Right? Why to argue??? You know what I am saying, right? :) Selam and best wishes,
Enes
Sallam
Ha ha. I loved the baby teeth bit. When i was around 15 i still had a couple of baby teeths! And...its a long story and things stil aren't right!
Great video. Do you have a suggestions page? Or how do we get involved? I'd like to help, not implying you need it!

Salam
I am also a convert from the USA and just wanted to say that these are the funniest teaching tools I have seen to date. I am living in Egypt at this time and I think I've actually met a couple of the "Haram Police Officers" personally! :D I am seriously going to try to figure out how to embed these videos onto my pages so that everyone I KNOW can also benefit from them. Thanks for taking the time to do these, and may you and all of those whom you love be truly blessed by Allah. Salam.

jazak ALlah khair for sharing and making these videos. I really enjoy all the videos and look forward the viewing more.
wa alaikum salaam
Barakallah Fik
OMG! yes people like that r the most annoying ...they shouldnt be hypocrytes n tell u to do 1 thing and dnt do it themselves or either tell u to stop but then they comit the same sin themselves.they call everything thy c in their eyes which other ppl do as HARAM, then next minute u know they r doing it themselves? huh??!!! wats that all abt? obviously we r all human beings...we r created weak but should try our best to follow the right path of Allah n the blessed Sunnat. humans wouldnt be created if they were sinless there would just be angels on earth..all we need to do as a ummah is stick together insAllah and act as a role model and inspire those around us the way our Nabi did...We shal find success if we stick with these words inshAllah. And do dua 4 me n da rest of the ummat that we r able 2 control our nafs (desires) and keep away 4rm major and ofcourse minor sins...AMEEN.....(May Allah Subhanahu'wa'Taala guide us all towards the right path and teach us all to have the utmost love for our beloved messenger s.a.w filled in our dirty hearts) ameen
A salam o alaikom wa rahmatu lah brother Ali

As Salaamualaikum:
Al hamduillah, may Allah reward you for these reminders and may they benefit the believers.
Ameen!
You know lately overhere in the UAE there is this thing where people are coming to the mosque to chat with their friends under the guise of learning quran and not praying at all. They just sit there and backbite others, could you do something about this topic?
I am telling you this from here because lots of people watch you over here too.
Another thing is not following the iman, on the basic level it's just so confusing for those who are following the imam.
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatulla hi wa barakathu..

i liked the message conveyed, and i've been trying to work on it, not that i tried to look up others' faults if it does not concern me brfore, but now i am trying to stop it when it concerns me too. jazakaAllah khair for your work, btw, it was hilarious when you portrayed the picky-on-everything personality lol.

Ma sha' allah.
Jazak allaho khairan.
please don't make fun of metawa'ah even if it's true.
this is so true i have the same problem at my local masjid and it has put me off going.
Great vid bro. Masha'Allah :)
I just find it funny how people have substituted the word "zabiha" with "halal".
Halal is something permissible or allowed according to Allah (swt).
Haram is something that which Allah (swt) has completely and specifically forbidden.
Zabiha is the process of slaughtering a halal animal according to the Islamic method.
So why do people get in a tight knot when someone who eats a chicken which is perfectly halal but may not be zabiha and say it is not halal? Excuse me? In the Prophet's time chicken was always halal. To have it blessed, that is why they used the term "zabiha" not "halal". We should remember that.
Asalamualikum brother Ali
This is so true, i have come across a ot of people who always find mistkes in everyone but themselves.
MashAllah it was really funny,

we should learn more about seerah, it's the best guide (along with al-Quran) for it was prophet Muhammad's(s.a.w)lessons to show us how yo act the right way. He's the perfect role model! He is the walking Quran!subhanallah!
may Allah S.W.T bless us all with His rahmah ameen..

Hilarious comedy, but with a good islamic point as always, talib al elm students need to set the example through actions instead of acting as if they work for the haram police.
asalam alaykum good points!
OMG
the same happened to me with my teeth
and its the same teeth just on the other side as well !
my dentist took it out thinking its a baby tooth
but it wasnt!! wow what a coincidence hehe
I really can’t buy this person at all. He’s an Iranian who’s not suffered the atrocity those Iranian young boys and girls have suffered and are suffering, having lived his life in America!
That is why he can praise Islam because he has no idea how it feels living under Islamic subjugation as a young person!
If he had had lived his life in Iran, I swear to God or Allah if you prefer as someone who’s been brain-washed by Arabic Culture and not by Real Islam because Arabs are a racist and arrogant nation and their arrogance has been blamed by God even in Koran. That’s why they insist to impose their language and culture to the whole world in the name of Islam whereas according to the real Islamic ideology, Islam is a global religion therefore, you don’t have to become an Arab in order to become a Muslim. You can keep your cultural appearance, name etc. and still be a Muslim but NO… They insist you have to grow a beard right after conversion, choose an “Arabic” name NOT “Islamic Name” because there is no such thing as Islamic Name being Islam a global religion and learn Arabic because you wouldn’t be a Muslim if you don’t pray to God or the Arabic God, Allah, if you don’t speak to him in Arabic! Apparently, God is an Arab and would not understand any language other than Arabic!
This person on the other hand has suffered some frustration in America which is not very hard to see what his frustrations has been! How can I see that?! It’s easy! He’s playing cool, funny, open-minded, even trying to be somewhat sexy! Where has he learned all these things?! To his admission, he’s been hanging out with white Americans and has been drinking, clubbing, chasing girls etc. He obviously has not been received well to his liking and has been disappointed and that’s why he’s become a Islam Lover. He’s fighting back! I think this guy’s so called activities are based on sheer selfish motive; therefore I cannot buy it or hoopla for it!
asalamualaykum brother Ali,
I enjoy your vidoes and mashallah they help us remember allah and the day of judgment and how we must be perpard. keep up the good work!
salams
Salam
I really luv ur ko0l style of getting issues based on islam out der, without having that strong tone of preaching. Btw was wondering if you could look into the topic of the caliphate and do you think its right or wrong. Keep up the go0d work.
Salam Shakila :D
I would like to do ummahfilms in arabic ( no worries the entertainment will stay ofcourse) as in take the video , record the voice and replace most of it in arabic but i need some TIPS from baba 3ali. Please contact me kingsoliman1985@live.com. I have sent out a couple of emails but judging by how many people watch the show it would be hard to reply to all the emails or read them all.
Thanks
This vid made me really scared. Its going to make me think twice before I post anything on the net. But one of the reasons why we have so much ambiguous stuff about islam on the net is because there is no definite authority which we can trust to tell us the truth about current affairs. Sometimes two really trustable Islamic sources have complete different and conflicting views about the same issue and you don't know what to do anymore. I wish I could find someone to ask all these confusing questions from.
Salaam.
Salams Bro
How you doing?
Why is this video currently unavailable???!! I wanted to watch it again, but couldn't.
Anyway, i just wanted to say that you have been doing a great job on these videos. May allah reward you for your good deeds. I am sure you made a big impact on hundreds of people's lives. Conrats. Your videos are soo funny that they even get non-muslims watching and learning about islam. I am sure many non-muslims converted from watching your videos. I have watched nearly all of them. Mashallah you are doing a great job. They are so funny that i watch them like every week! I told my muslim friends and family about them and many of them already knew. I wish you success in the upcoming movie. Can't wait to see it! Will you have to buy the movie to watch it?? I am only ten years old and sometimes my parents don't allow me to use money for those kinds of things. But maybe they will understand. Anyway, can't wait till it's out! May your movie be a great succes like your videos are. May allah give you lots of rewards and put you in Paradise. May Allah protect you from hell fire and make you from the ones he loves. Ameen.
Salams Brother Ali.
assalamu a'likum

Salam aleikum,
MashaAllah, what a nice way of handling such a subject. May Allah guide all Muslims to the same path you are in. If only every single Muslim on earth got the knowledge from a trusworthy source and put it into practice I trully believe the Ummah wouldn't be in the shape it is in nowadays. May Allah reward you. Please readers, make dua for my family and friends to convert to Islam, the true path to Allah.
Um Mariam

nice video!
salam, Ali..great video...especially the 'haram police' part...i agree that trying to correct people in an impolite way is bad since it might offend those whom we correct...i hope i dont do those stuff
anyways, thanks ali for your reminders
Thanks for reminding us Ali
From Sydney to Melbourne to Gold Coast to Cairns there is so much to see and do. Of these, Tala Gate constitutes the premium zone and hence the gate fee is higher here It was whilst at school that Clarkson first decided to pursue singing. talked about a past event-the destruction of the Jaredites because of their Reeds gang cautiously approached the express car and ordered the occupants to come out.
