Salaam Br. Ali - another great video and as I have already said on my YouTube comment, an important aspect of a relationship, understanding how each person works through problems that arise in life.

I want to add here, though, that I do think though, that one's partner should be a part of the picture in supporting each other when it comes to each others' problems, because if it is the wife's problem, it's the husband's problem and vice versa.

I like the math problem comparison. As a female I JUST DON'T GET IT but that was a nice clear example. Jazak Allah khair :)

Aw come on, Baba Ali. You know better than to make complete generalizations like that. There are plenty of men that like to talk about their feelings and problems(straight men, too!)

And I'm a women, and more often than not, if I'm dealing with something, I like to handle it myself if at all possible. There's nothing that annoys me more than someone asking me what's wrong.

I love your videos, and I know you didn't mean to be offensive with this video, so I'm not offended. I just think you should have known better.

Not all men are alike and not all women are alike. You could have explained this situation and given advice without making men and women who don't fit your description feel marginalized.
