The Muslim Divorce rate has reached 31% in US. I decided to dedicate my entire season 5 to issues dealing with marriage, and how to resolve problems between husband & wife. Sometimes its the small things that can make a big difference.The video deals with some of the differences in the way men and women communicate. Unfortunately, many people assume the opposite sex communicates the same way they do, which often leads to misunderstanding and the person thinking their spouse is "complicated". I hope this video helps us understand each other better. It's a good subject which most don't know about. It touched a bit on what I'm passionate about.
It be great in future videos Insha-Allah, to share also about the way people are different in personality traites.
Not that any are bad, but rather for greater understanding, and to work on that which one can change.
It has helped with building teams, understandig why childre behave in a certain way and to work towards the grain of people, not against what Allah SWT created them as.
For example:
There is Dominant personality.
There is Cautious personality.
There's Supportive.
There's also Influence.
Some have both of each personality. Like Dominant is a go getter, sometimes seen as insenitive but it's their personality language.
They also have C personality, so they like to be anyaltical, detailed, and they are very task orientated.
They can study for long hours. They can finish work.
On other hand, with their Cautious personality, they don't make decisions faster. They wait till everything is right. They are very cautious and think they KNOW everything.
If we have a Dominant personality and who is Cautious, and sit them with a Supportive personality, oh brother.
You going to have problems if they don't understand each other.
Because ths Supportive wants to help, afriad to hurt people, so they try and talk around the thing UNTIL the person decodes what they saying.
Very frustrating to a Dominant who is a go getter, wants it done NOW, and..
"Just get to the point man!"
It's my favourite subject. Works great because I meet many different people in life, business.
It helped also to decide the wife I wanted to marry cause I made mistake last time.
Second time, with knowledge, Alhamdillah, 10 years marriage, feels like even now, first day we met, and it's awesome.
We know each others personality, behaviour traite, and EVEN had profile assessment written for both of us to see more of each other in how we think.
So personality traite is a language too, and most don't learn it and study it.
Some great books out there.

Great video Br. Ali. I think it is absolutely true, about the differences between the sexes. Insha'allah, I hope couples and potential couples can work their way through these and make it work and hopefully, HalfOurDeen will help towards that cause.
I think males and females are different species entirely! ;-) Yet, we need each other in this life. :-)

JazakAllah for an insightful video. Whilst I agree with the need to understand direct and indirect, I do not think men are one way and women the other. I believe it is more of a personality trait as well as the direct/indirect home environment in which the person was brought up.
