JazakAllah khair for all the viewer's support!
Bismillah ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem,
Of course all success is only in Allah (swt) hands but its up to us to put in the effort. When I first decided on doing the Reminder videos, I wasn't sure how people were going to react because I wanted to cover issues that weren't discussed. For whatever reason, people would discuss these subjects in their circle of friends but never in the public arena. Maybe because it is politically incorrect, or not appropriate, or maybe there just wasn't a forum to give your 2 cents about these subjects. Well, the forum is here now and anyone can comment and can do so even anonymously.
That being said, I just wanted to say JazkAllah khair for all the viewer's support. Each time a new video has come out, those who support the ideas behind Ummah Films have helped us promote and market it via posting the videos on their websites, blogs, myspace pages, etc... Even though I write, film, & edit these reminder videos, I only play a small part of all this. The real effort is from all of YOU who have helped spread these messages to all over the world and I wanted to say once again, JazakAllah khair.
I also wanted to thank everyone for supporting UF by buying the UF products. As you know, both the DVD and Shirt sales are going towards helping us with making our first two short movies InshAllah. We have been keeping a record of what is going on with each project on our blogs (see links on the right side of the page) so you'll be in the loop. How many times have you been to a fundraiser and then you wonder were the money went? Wouldn't it be cool if each organization was asking for funds, they would keep a record of what's going on with that project? For example, if the local people were raising funds to open a Masjid, it would be nice to be kept in the loop on what was going on with building that Masjid. Sometimes, months or years go by and then you ask yourself...uh..what happened to the "new" Masjid?..you know what I'm sayin'? I wanted people to know what is going on with UF and its projects This filmmaking thing is new to all of us and we're just learning along the way so JazakAllah khair for being patient with us.
Remember, no matter how much success we have in this life, the real success is seeing the fruits of our efforts on the Day of Judgment (that is if Allah (swt) accepts our efforts).

How about doing a video on the subject of calling other Muslims kafir ? Like how many muslims tend to label other muslims as infidel in matter of split second on minor issues … *You know what I’m saying? * hehe (just wanted to imitate ya)
And yep, May Allah bless your work, ameen
hey my name is Imran, I hope you still read the comments on this site
this video was good. brother ali if your wondering why the meat is expensive it's b/c the imams sacrifice their time to go to the farm and sacrifice the meat themselves. If you want the meat at a cheap or competitive price. you might want to go to the farm yourself and sacrifice an animal by yourself. Me? I can't sacrifice an animal it will just put me too tears to see an animal die. I don't like to see anything go through pain. That's why i just pay extra money for my halal meat, so i don't have to go through those horrific scenes:). The Imams have hard times too. They feel sorry too. But this a circle of life.
i don't know how to make an account on this site so. If you have any questions regarding this issue or want to reach me please contact me at takbir4me@yahoo.com
I will ocasionaly check this blog. To see if you responded.
walikum assalam. And keep the videos coming!
Assalamu Alaikum,

even though the videos are doing great, i.e with hits, and ratings, I still think much more can be done.
Think of how much Muslims are using the internet? instead of thousands of hits we should be aiming for the million mark..why dont we try it out?
make some promotion through banners, and logos...and advertise these on myspace, muslimspace, facebook, bebo, blogs e.t.c.
also they should be posted on other video sharing sites, to widen appeal
great news, and nice to see people like it.
Also you should post your videos on Meta cafe as a producer (they will give you money if your videos get a lot of hits)

Assalammu' Alaikum Imran,
My point with the halal meat example was how Muslims will charge more just because its a Muslim product. I personally buy Halal meat and yes I pay a lot more because its halal.
As in regards of the Halal meat example, animals (halal or non-halal) die either way so why should we pay often times double because a Muslim has to do it. That's doesn't make sense and I don't understand your argument.
Allah (swt) is far more merciful than you, I, or any of the "Imams". Thus, it is Islam that taught us to be kind to animals, to treat them properly, etc...So when Islam teaches us how to sacrifice the animal, then we follow it because we understand that Allah (swt) knowledge and MERCY far exceeds any human being and only He truly knows when an animals suffers and when they don't. He is far Merciful than any of us. Personally I don't like to see the image of anyone dying, including animals.
I don't want to start a whole discussion on the comment section but I just wanted to put out my 2 cents on this.
Asalam aliakum,
Jazakum Allahu khiran Brothers for the comments. The issue on this video was not about halal meat vs. non-halal meat, it was more about justice in dealing with Tejarah (trade or business). Everything is halal except what Allah and his messenger forbade. When we say halal meat it should be more properly said Zabiah meat
(slaughterd in Allah’s name) even though this action is not Fard(compulsory) Allah SWT permitted us to eat from Jews and Christian as well. "5. Made lawful to you this day are At-Tayyibat. The food of the People of the Scripture is lawful to you, and your food is lawful to them......." 5:5
Wa salam alaikum
yeh i like that idea 'muslimah' cos i wanted 2 suggest him doing a video on people who call otehrs wahabi just becuase u tell them look bro this practice did not happen during rasool swa time! its bidah . you can never say that word without being called a kafir , astagferallah the name wahab is allah's attribute so dnt misuse it ....
Asslamualykum’Warahmatullah
Excellent video’s!
I just want to say – I know what your saying!!!! You crack me up and sadden me at the same time, your observations, & how you present them make me laugh, but your reminders are serious - & scare me, with fear of Allah & the black fire. Too much, can I relate to your video blogs ….. Jazakallh’Khire for the reminders!
Wasalam Jamal

Salam,
I just recently discovered your videos and have already ordered from your store to support your efforts. I believe your videos talk to us in today's society and bind us together spiritually by your reminders. This is so needed especially for converts to Islam who never grew up in Islam. You are a modern voice who speaks to Muslims about modern issues.
Salam,
Mashallah, these videos are amazing. I really enjoy watching them, because aside from being funny, they've also got great messages to them. Jazakallahu Khairan for the interview, I look forward to attracting more viewers to your videos, through my writing. May Allah continue to bless you. Wsalam, Chereen
