$25,000 Muslim Wedding wins 1st Place at MuslimFest!
I was going through the comment section on the Youtube site and one viewer said "congratulations on winning the short film competition". Uh..I had no idea we won...lol. So I went to the Muslim Fest website and bam there it was.
Once again, if our films achieve anything then all praise is all due to Allah, only the mistakes are ours. Success in this life is only temporary, only the success in the hereafter is forever.

I remember filling out the form to submit to MuslimFest and thinking to myself that we probably had a long shot of getting anywhere near first place.
I and Baba Ali have always insisted that success comes from Allah. We just put for the effort and whatever happens it is because Allah willed it happen.
If we can educate the masses and even bridge the gap between Muslims and non-Muslims, it is truly a blessing from Allah.
Wow - Congrats (Do you win anything?) ...Now I'll go have a look at what Muslim fest actually is.

subhanAllah, you got some good dawah going on. Some young family friends (between 6-16 years old) came around today and me and my sis sat here watching UF videos with them, alhumdulillah now they wana start to learn how to pray. JazakAllah khair for providing the young with a role model!!!

After watching all videos they made me cry...The videos surely do rise persons iman...I felt stronger inside of myself seeing muslims like Ali and that little girl also made me cry and laugh in the same time...InshaAllah may Allah guide her and may He make her good muslimah inshaAllah...May Allah guide Ali and his family and may He give them highest levels in Jannah and may He save them from sufferings in Gravelife, on the day of Judgment and Jahennem inshaAllah...And this also for all other good muslims and muslimahs...
Ps. I am brother from Bosnia, Sarajevo...I showed it to my sister and to my friend and they are amazed and think that videos are awsome and we inshaAllah hope for season 2 if brother Ali is not too busy with his family and work...If he is, then I think he should first take care of that...May Allah reward you and give you best in this and next life (and also all good muslims and muslimahs)...
Salam alykum brothers, I am not muslim, but heck! Your video blogs rock! I really really enjoyed watching all ten of them. Your vidblogs are informative funny and entertaining. You truly deserve some recognition for your efforts, even though I know you don't do these for recognition of any kind. Yeah, I was there at the screening and award show - that was how I heard of Ummah Films - and I was happy when you won first! There was a very nice physical award as well, you should contact MuslimFest and ask how you can get it - and now you can call yourselves Award-Winning Filmmakers!
I am also a Muslim Filmmaker [although 15 years old and just starting out], I hope to make more Islam-centered films in the future, as I don't right now. My films are Halal, but don't centre around Islam [since my main people and I are all different religions] but Alhamdulillah I now have a good Muslim brother too, so Inshallah we'll do some stuff in the future, when we have more skills.
