Ummah Films' Reminder videos on MBC

Bismillah ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem,

I started getting "congratulations on getting on MBC" messages from viewers on my Facebook account (Baba Ali) and I'm like "what's MBC?" so I started googling it and this is what I found:

"MBC the first-ever, independent Arabic satellite TV station and a market leader, delivering news and quality, family entertainment programming to more than 130 million Arabic speaking people around the world"

Although the video series has been translated into many languages, we only have two videos translated into Arabic. Honestly, I had no idea that the videos would be televised to such a huge Arabic-speaking audience so we weren't really prepared. Then again, the translations are done by a group of volunteers (viewers) so its not really in my hands.

Alhamdulillah with the effort of many viewers, we have the scripts to all the Reminder videos, the videos themselves, and of course software to do the actual subtitling. If there are people who can help us subtitle the videos for the Arabic speaking audience or any other language, please email yusuf@ummahfilms.com. Also, there is a blog for the translators here so please check it out.

Finally, if you can help us subtitle videos in English for those who are deaf, please contact us because it will help us reach the hearing paired community. Learning to subtitle the videos isn't hard and we have a whole blog setup to help you do it. Although it can be time consuming, it can also be rewarding as well. Remember, you never know how far you efforts will go. All these videos were done in a small room and now they have spread all around the world. The point is that our job is to put in the effort, make du'ah, and hope that it becomes successful**.

JazakAllah khair for all your efforts and du'ahs

**By successful I mean that we get rewarded for it in the hereafter...the success in this life is only temporary and worthless compared to the hereafter)

Is it confirmed that it will be broad casted on MBC?

As much as I want to raise funds to make more projects with Ummah Films, the goal of the Reminder was to spread the message in the videos. So if media outlet wants to broadcast the videos to their audience, we give them the greenlight to do so. We just ask that they notify us so we can keep track of how far the videos have reached.

Salam Alikom ..

jazak ALLAH khyran brother Ali for ur videos.. ur right MBC is one of the biggest channels in the arabic world and this program "Khawater" talks about important topics in islam , and the episode that showed parts of ur videos was talkign about
E+R=O
environment+respond= outcome
which means that we have important stuff in our life but we cant change it to better things cuase we dont have the oppurtunity to do it, so the main idea of the episode is how we should work on things that we can change it and to do our best to find a way to tell ppl about it..
and ur videos was a good example on it..
he said that "u" have alot of videos on u tube which are shown by a huge number of viewers and u r talking about important stuff in a simple and funny way..
if u have any arabic friend let him watch it and translate it to u :D

the show khawater which used clips from ur vids is really popular and is broadcasted on many arabic channels during ramadan-mbc and al resala for example.

the episode which used ur clips was talking about how young ppl can make a change. the presenter used your clips as an example of what one guy can do and how great an audience you reached.

it was a great episode from a fantastic show.
i had already watched your clips on youtube and i'm glad that you can now reach a wider audience.

salam alikoum
I was introduced to ummah films after watching that episode of khawater. The presenter of khawater is a young man who easily touched our hearts, just like you Ali! Will you ever consider working with him?? You both can make a huger effect together. Just an idea!!
