You do not need to be a great scholar to engage in ijtihad, Ali. You can bring the knowledge and wisdom of a rational, average man to the table, though perhaps not with the same eloquence and fire of a great teacher.

salaam alaikom brother, i have an idea of your new project which can be the most biggest and most tiresome ever, brother i know that you are familiar with the stupidity of non muslim insults and how dangerous they can be, especially for young Muslims that are really new in everything, so the danger for them to hear or read or see any insult against Islam in this tender age will automatically generate a black thought which will more likely effect them negatively, so the thing is, you should make a new Muslim facebook, or a facebook like website for the Muslim community and its administration is solely Islamic and safe for our religion and more than that it can be sin free in sha Allah
