Assalamualaikkum baba ali.. i need some advice for my friend. My friend got married in April 2010 and her husband was working in UK residing in Scotland. After getting married she left to Scotland for a 3 months visit and came back after that. She was working for a software company when she got married but later on quit her Job to join her husband soon. She had non mahram friends while she was at work and her husband was fully aware of it even before getting married and sometimes she used to talk to them over the phone. He was Ok with it, since he also had friends who were girls. One day her husband called her up and warned her not to talk with any guy. She accepted it and stopped talking to any guy from then on. Later on She went back in December end and lived happily for a couple of weeks. She became pregnant in February. When she was pregnant she was too weak to cook and her husband wanted her to do household work even when she was ill. they had quarrelled sometimes over this issue. Even then she managed to cook most of the time. She was so tired and couldnt give proper attention to her husband physically. He would constantly argue on this and in anger he used to assault her physically, point out that she should not forget that he had forgiven her and given her chance since she was talking to guys. He was always suspicious over her that she is cheating on him. But she was genuine in her relationship to her husband and allah(swt) knows best. She was stressed out and there were tensions between both of them. In a months time, he was behaving as though everything was normal and he asked her to go to singapore to her parents place since she couldnt manage here alone and made it sound like out of concern he wants her to go. He promised her he would come and see her often in singapore. She trusted him. Happily he dropped her at the airport. Once she boarded her flight, he called her mother and told her that since she couldnt take care of him, couldnt cook for him all the time and she spoke to guys long back(for which he had forgiven her and was fully aware during her marriage contract) he wants a divorce. She was not aware of this drama until she reached singapore. Her mother was shocked when he spoke in a disrespectful manner. After that he changed his number and shifted his house. He called his parents and told them that if they try to resolve things and make her come back in his life, he would commit suicide. So they are supporting their son and abusing the girl and her family when ever the girls parents are contacting them to talk on what actually happened. No one from the guys side is ready to talk about this and they're asking the girls parents to get her things and leave their son without letting any one know about this. She is really heart broken carrying a child in her womb for just about 12 weeks. She is really depressed since he sent her mail saying thalak. He is not willing to talk to her anymore and whne some one approaches he is threatening he would commit suicide. She is helpless and doesn't know what to do. Can some one solve her problem? If you know some one who can advice on this. Please let me know.
